Last Giving Tuesday, we knew a difficult year lay ahead. It was less than a month after the presidential election, but ICE raids, family separations, and the rollback of immigration protections were already on the horizon. As 2025 unfolded, anti-immigrant policies took effect in ways we never expected. There is still widespread fear that keeps immigrants from seeking assistance.

In spite of all these odds, CIANA hasn’t missed a beat. Every day, our office is filled with community members completing immigration paperwork, practicing English, enrolling in healthcare, and learning their rights.

Our dedicated staff and volunteers help our clients face their challenges with greater confidence, and put them on track towards stable, secure lives for themselves and their families.

While there is still fear and uncertainty, there is also hope. This year has shown what a lifeline CIANA is to the community, and how much we can achieve when our community joins us by giving of their time and resources.​ Donate to CIANA this Giving Tuesday.
