Services for Asylum Seekers

CIANA has joined the citywide response to the influx of asylum seekers in Astoria and across New York City. At this time we do not offer direct assistance for asylum, work permits, or TPS. However, we do offer free legal screenings and referrals to organizations that do provide these services. We assist with applications for NYC Care (healthcare), Fair Fares (discounted MetroCards), and IDNYC. We also help clients access food/nutritional resources and clothing.

Learn more about our services for asylum seekers here.

If you need one or more of our services, contact us by phone, email, or directly on our website.
