About CIANA
The Center for the Integration & Advancement of New Americans (CIANA) is a social services organization that works to integrate new immigrants from the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and West Africa into the socio-economic and civic life of American society while maintaining pride in their cultural heritage.

Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, flexible, highly organized self-starter who wants to make a difference in the lives of marginalized communities. She/he will serve as the Founder/CEO’s right hand, provide general administrative support, assist with program management and reporting tasks, and act as the point person for everyday operations and logistics across programs and staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, multi-tasking, and management skills. This is a full-time position where the candidate will gain valuable experience, connect with newcomer immigrant communities, and help build community partnerships.
Qualifications

Minimum BA Degree with work experience, preferably in social services

Strong program/project coordination and management skills

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work under pressure and with all levels of staff and management

Experience with database management systems and fundraising software

Office management skills
-
Proficiency in a language other than English is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist with fundraising/grant writing, social media, public relations, and community activities

Maintain communication across programs
-
Maintain personnel and agency records, and ensure timely record-keeping
-
Communicate with coalition and community partners and public officials, and attend community events and meetings
-
Ensure program compliance, and manage client data and statistical reporting

Maintain updated contact lists, donor lists, and community resources
-
Help recruit personnel, volunteers, and interns
-
Manage office site, and perform other tasks as assigned

Job Type
Full time (Monday-Friday, 10AM-6PM)
Compensation
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00, commensurate with education and experience
