It's that time of year again!
Giving Tuesday, the global day of generosity that kicks off the season of giving, will fall this year on Tuesday, November 30.
While 2020 was a year of unimaginable struggle, loss, and hardship for immigrant communities in New York City, 2021 was a year of resilience and hope. CIANA was part of numerous city and statewide initiatives to get immigrant New Yorkers vaccinated, obtain rental assistance, unemployment benefits, healthcare coverage, and help them get back on their feet as they emerge from the pandemic.
How were we able to accomplish all of this? Thanks in large part to the generosity of donors like you! Giving Tuesday is CIANA’s biggest donation day. Your contributions enable us to continue doing what we do best, especially now when immigrant communities remain marginalized and particularly vulnerable.

This year, Giving Tuesday comes at the end of CIANA's 15th anniversary. We are so grateful to all those who have supported us since we opened in 2006, and to everyone who has helped CIANA grow to be a welcoming center, home, and haven for new Americans of all backgrounds.

We hope you'll consider being part of CIANA's ongoing mission to provide high-quality, holistic immigrant integration services, whether by donating, volunteering, or giving in other ways. We truly appreciate your support.
Your support is what makes our work possible. Any amount you can give goes directly to our direct-service programming.
Thank you for your generosity.
We recognize that the pandemic has impacted many people's ability to give financially. Here are some more ways to give back to CIANA and to the community:
-
Give with your time by volunteering with CIANA
-
Give with your words by sharing positive stories of resilience, generosity, and joy in your life on social media
-
Give with your actions by providing direct assistance to vulnerable populations in your community
-
Give with your solidarity by standing up to injustice and bigotry against immigrants and other marginalized groups
